Qualification & Eligibility of Students
Marine Engineering officers holding as a minimum
a MEO Class IV (FG / NCV) certificate of competency and has completed a minimum of 12 months sea going service as a certificated Engineer Officer of watch
a MEO Class I/II (FG / NCV) certificate of competency
a Dredge Grade I/II certificate of competency
Electro-technical officers holding as a minimum
a Certificate of Competency as “Electro-Technical Officer” issued by the Govt. of India;
a Certificate of course completion, having successfully completed an approved ETO Pre-sea training course and has completed approved seagoing service to be eligible for appearing for ETO Certificate of competency examination;
a record of sea going service of not less than 12 months in the capacity of ETO / Electrical Officer / trainee E/O to be eligible for appearing ETO Certification of Competency Examination.
100% attendance is required for successful completion of the course.
Fees : Rs. 30,000/- per candidate (The fees include cost of all meals, furnished comfortable accommodation, access to library, recreation, internet facilities within the campus at Lonavala, and course handouts)
|Duration : 1 Day (8 Hrs - to be held concurrently with the management level course)
Eligibility : Marine Engineer Candidates holding MEO Class IV CoC, or those who have successfully completed approved pre-sea training as GME/B.E.(Marine), DME or ATS candidates without high voltage training,
Electro- Technical Officer trainees who have completed approved 4 months ETO Course without High Voltage training.
Fees : Rs. 7000/- (Fees include cost of lunch and tea, course hand-outs and internet accessibility)
Note: The above One day training course in High Voltage Safety and Switch Gear at Operational Level shall not be required for all those candidates who have received this training as part of their pre-sea training under STCW 2010 and have been issues with a separate certificate or is reflected in their course completion certificate
